Pointer + keyboard window management

Manage window layouts with pointer-first snap behavior and optional keyboard shortcuts. It gives you fast placement across single or multi-display setups without extra utility windows.

How to use it

  1. Pick your modifier keys: one to hold while dragging anywhere to move a window, another to hold while dragging to resize it. No title bar needed.
  2. Turn on no-key title-bar snap if you would rather drag a window to an edge the usual way.
  3. Record shortcuts for the layouts you use: halves, thirds, two-thirds, corners, maximize, center, and moving a window to another display.
  4. Set the padding and the settle speed so a snapped layout looks deliberate rather than flush against the bezel.

Two-thirds left for the editor, one-third right for the terminal or the browser. Two shortcuts, and it is the same every time.

Move a window to the other screen

Display-specific actions exist for each connected screen, so a window can go to Display 2 already maximized instead of being dragged across the gap.

Tips

  • Snap actions can sit on the Ring, which is easier to remember than eight modifier combinations.
  • Choose how resize picks its edge: the closest corner is the behaviour most people expect from a drag started in the middle of a window.
  • It can bring the target window to the front and activate its app as part of the snap, which keeps focus where you are looking.

Reserve space on each screen edge so snapped windows never cover a custom dock, menu-bar overlay, or third-party widget that macOS doesn't account for. Set an edge to 0 to disable it.
