Droppy Cloud

Drop files, get a private link, send it anywhere. The recipient opens it in a browser. No account on either end.

Drop files onto the shelf and pick the cloud Quick Action, or use the Droppy Cloud Droplet. Droppy uploads them and copies a getdroppy.app/cloud/<slug> link to your clipboard. Every active share is listed in the menu bar with its own delete button.

Limits

Per file200 MB maximum.
Per share1 GB total, and at most 25 files.
Per installation1 GB of active shared data at any one time. Delete an active share or wait for one to expire to free room.
Per network address3 GB of active shared data.
Expiry3 days after upload, automatically. You can delete a share yourself at any time before that, and the files go for good.
StorageFile contents live on Cloudflare R2. The slug, filename, type, size, upload time and expiry time live in our database.

Not end to end encrypted

Uploads and downloads use HTTPS, and files at rest are encrypted server-side by Cloudflare, but Droppy Cloud is not end to end encrypted. If you need confidential transfer, encrypt the files yourself first or use a tool built for that.

Droppy Sync, which carries your library to your iPhone, is a separate path and is end to end encrypted.

Full detail, including exactly what is stored per share, is on the Droppy Cloud page.
