Privacy and data

Droppy is local-first. Clipboard contents, files and captures are processed on your Mac and are not collected, transmitted or stored by us.

On-device by default. OCR, AI Background Removal, Voice Transcribe, Converter, PDF Compress and Video Target Size all run locally. Nothing is uploaded for processing.
Droppy Sync is end to end encrypted. Records are sealed on the device with a key your Mac made and keeps in its Keychain. That key never reaches a server.
Droppy Cloud is not end to end encrypted. It is a deliberate, separate path for files you choose to share. See Droppy Cloud.
Concealed copies are respected. Anything an app marks as concealed, such as a password manager's copy, stays out of clipboard history.
The Agents Droplet reads only your own local agent session logs. It shows tool calls and files, never paths or prompts on the phone.
