Finder Services

Right-click → Add to Droppy

Add Droppy actions to Finder right-click menus so files can be sent to Shelf, Basket, and supported flows instantly from the location where you already manage files.

What it does

  • Right-click context menu
  • Instant integration
  • No extra apps required
  • Enable in Keyboard Shortcuts > Services > Files and Folders

How to use it

  1. Switch it on once in System Settings, Keyboard, Keyboard Shortcuts, Services, Files and Folders. This Droplet's page opens that pane for you.
  2. Right-click any file or folder selection in Finder and choose Quick Actions or Services, then the Droppy action.

Where it shows up

  • Finder
  • File action

Workflows

Collect from a folder you are already in

Sorting a downloads folder is a right-click away from a Shelf full of the files you want to keep, with no window switching and no drag across a display.

Tips

  • macOS lets you give a Service its own keyboard shortcut in the same pane, which turns this into a key press on a Finder selection.
  • It works on folders, not just files.

If your macOS language is not English, these labels appear translated in the same positions.
