Your emoji, one shortcut away

Find emoji from any app with a shortcut or text trigger. Choose larger emoji, your preferred skin tone, where the picker opens, and whether selecting an emoji pastes it or copies it.

What it does

  • Open with a shortcut or your own text trigger
  • Choose six to ten columns with larger or smaller emoji
  • Choose your preferred emoji skin tone
  • Add your own search labels by right-clicking an emoji

How to use it

  1. Open it with a shortcut, or set a text trigger you type anywhere.
  2. Choose six to ten columns. Fewer columns means larger emoji.
  3. Set your skin tone once, and choose whether picking an emoji pastes it into the app you were in or just copies it.
  4. Choose where it opens: near the pointer, or centred on the display.

Find one by what you call it

Right-click any emoji and add your own search label. Search finds it by your word from then on, which is the difference between finding an emoji and scrolling for it.

Tips

  • It needs Accessibility so it can take keys while your own app keeps focus. That is what lets it paste straight into the field you were typing in.
  • Clearing recent and frequent emoji leaves your custom search labels alone.
