Cleaner
Uninstall apps completely and clear out cachesPick an app, right-click one on the shelf or in the basket, or type uninstall in Thunderstorm, and Cleaner lists it with every file it left in your Library, each with its size and exact path. Files named after the app start checked, guesses start unchecked, and nothing moves until you confirm. Clean up storage sizes app caches, logs, Xcode build data and developer caches the same way, and everything goes to the Trash.
What it does
- Uninstall apps together with their leftover files
- Review every item and its location before anything moves
- Clear app caches, logs and Xcode build data
- Everything goes to the Trash, so you can put it back
- Optional scheduled cleaning of caches and logs
How to use it
- Add Cleaner from Settings, Droplets. Under Uninstall apps, Choose… opens your Applications folder; pick an app and Cleaner lists it with every file it left in your Library.
- Or right-click an app in the File Tray or the Floating Tray and choose Uninstall… for the same review. Thunderstorm's uninstall command finds the same files with the same rules, in the launcher.
- Read the list before you confirm. Each item shows its size and exact location, files named after the app's identifier start checked, and anything matched only by name starts unchecked.
- Open Clean up storage to size app caches, logs, Xcode build data, developer caches and device support files, then choose what goes.
Where it shows up

Workflows
Remove an app for good
Drop the app's icon on the File Tray, right-click it and choose Uninstall…. If the app is open, Cleaner offers to quit it first, then moves the app and the leftovers you kept checked to the Trash in one go.
Win back space before a big download
Open Clean up storage, let the scan finish, and uncheck anything you want to keep. Emptying the Trash afterwards is what frees the space.
Keep caches in check on their own
Turn on Clean automatically under Scheduled cleaning and pick weekly or monthly. It only touches app caches and logs unused for three days, and skips apps that are open.
Tips
- Nothing is ever deleted outright: every item goes to the Trash, and Put Back on the result returns the app and its files to where they were.
- Files an app left in the shared Library folder ask for your password, so they start unchecked unless the app itself asks for one too.
- If another copy of the same app is on your Mac, nothing starts checked, because that copy still uses those settings.
- Without Full Disk Access, app containers are only looked up by name and never opened, so macOS asks nothing. Grant it under Optional permission for a deeper scan.
- Cleaner never offers macOS's own apps, Droppy itself, Apple's caches, or anything in Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures or iCloud Drive.
