Select text anywhere and act on it from a pill on Droppy's Dynamic Glass. Hold the mouse to summon it, or press its shortcut to search every action. Add your own snippets, links and scripts, install extensions from a file, and bring your own AI provider or run one on your Mac. Based on OpenClip by Ganesh M, under the MIT License.

How to use it

  1. Get it from the Droplet Store. It runs inside Droppy, so there is no separate app to install or keep open.
  2. Select text in any app and DropClip's pill appears beside it with copy, search, calculate, AI writing and your own actions, on Droppy's Dynamic Glass.
  3. Every setting is a page of Droppy's Settings, under DropClip, and every shortcut is on Droppy's Shortcuts page.

Quiet it for a meeting

Choose Pause on DropClip's page and the pill stays away while you present; Resume brings it back early.

Tips

  • Coming from OpenClip, your settings, actions, extensions and AI keys come across on the first start.
  • Extensions install from a file: a folder, a .zip archive or a script.
  • DropClip is an MIT-licensed fork of OpenClip by Ganesh M, taken before OpenClip moved to the AGPL. Its source is public in the Droplet Store repository, and every licence it carries ships inside it: License on its page in Settings opens them.
