Liquid smooth scrolling + reverse option

Improve external mouse scrolling with smoothing, optional reverse direction, and speed tuning. The droplet targets wheel-mouse comfort while leaving trackpad behavior untouched.

What it does

  • Smooths coarse external mouse wheel steps
  • Liquid mode for trackpad-like inertial flow

How to use it

  1. Turn it on and set the scroll speed. Trackpads are left completely alone.
  2. Pick an easing curve for how a wheel step accelerates and settles. The ease-in and ease-out families differ in how much of the movement lands at the start.
  3. Reverse the direction for the mouse only, if you keep natural scrolling on for the trackpad.
  4. Exclude any app that already does its own smoothing.

Where it shows up

It has no widget, no chip and no shortcut. It changes how your Mac already behaves, everywhere, and you turn it on or off from its own panel under Settings, Store.

Make a cheap wheel feel expensive

A coarse notched wheel becomes an inertial glide, which is most of what separates a mouse from a trackpad in daily use.

Tips

  • Each wheel axis is configured separately, so horizontal scroll can stay plain while vertical is smoothed.
  • If a specific app fights it, add it to the exclusion list rather than turning the whole Droplet off.
