Read your script right under the camera

Puts your script on Droppy's shelf, right under the camera. Pick a steady pace in words per minute or let it follow your voice word by word through the microphone. While a script runs the shelf stays open, even over a full-screen call, and the display stays awake. Every script plays with the same pace and type settings.

What it does

  • Steady pace in words per minute, or follows your voice
  • Import PDF, Word and text files, or write one in Set up
  • Shelf stays open while running, even over a full-screen call
  • Keeps the display awake for the session
  • Same pace and type settings across every script

How to use it

  1. Import a PDF, Word or text file from the widget, or write one in Set up.
  2. Pick a steady pace in words per minute, or let it follow your voice word by word through the microphone.
  3. Press Start. The shelf stays open while the script runs, even over a full-screen call.

Workflows

Read in a call without looking away

Open the widget on the shelf under the camera and press Start. The script scrolls at your pace while the call stays full-screen, so reading looks like looking at the person you are talking to.

Go hands-free with voice following

Choose the voice pace and read naturally. It advances word by word as you speak, and waits when you pause.

Tips

  • The display stays awake while a script runs.
  • Every script shares the same pace and type settings.
  • Voice following needs the Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions. A steady pace needs neither.
