I wanted the clipboard to stop being a picture you can only click. In this beta the highlighted card takes Return, Copy, Edit, Rename, Delete and Space, so you stay on the list instead of hunting through a menu.
Stay on the card
Those keys were the point. I also put rename on the card itself: click the title, or press Command-R, and the name edits in place. No extra panel just to fix a typo.
Element Capture names got the same kind of control. Screenshots now stamp a real time into the file name, and Settings, Element Capture lets you change the pattern if the default is not how you file things.
Music and the month grid
Spotify tracks that ship a moving cover now play that motion on the lock screen and in the media widget, over the still art, the same way Apple Music already did.
The Calendar droplet finally asks which day the week starts on. System default, Sunday, Monday or Saturday, and the month grid plus week numbers follow that choice.
The quit I kept hitting
I fixed the macOS 27 quit that hit when the notch opened, especially on an external display. The shelf was handing AppKit sizes it cannot place. That path is clamped now, so the key view loop never gets a trap value.
Command-Comma had a quieter bug: it opened a blank Droppy window instead of Settings. It now opens the real panel. Extra seats in Settings, License also stopped quoting and charging full price in countries where the site already shows a lower one.
Files that never arrived
LocalSend was dropping incoming files as empty and losing HTTPS sends when the other device asked for a certificate. Both directions work again. Behind those sit fifty three more fixes across Sync, AirPods, clipboard and the notch.
Glass on the edge
The volume and brightness sliders on the lock screen and desktop edge are clear Liquid Glass now, and they breathe in from the display with a curved black press lip. I moved them into their own Edge sliders section, above Media keys.
Thunderstorm now shows results while you type, instead of waiting out an app scan. The Sync popover speaks the last sync in plain words, and the notch rebuilds less chrome on every frame of the open spring.
Twenty more polish passes sit under that, across Settings scrolling, the shelf, the screenshot editor, and sync. None of them needed their own headline.
