Cards

The large cards sit above the login area. When more than one is on, the timer card sits at the bottom, Stay Awake stacks above it, and Now Playing lifts above both.

• Now Playing is the floating player. See the floating player guide. It rests in the card slot with artwork and transport controls, and timed lyrics when the Lyrics Droplet is on. Resize it into the same large floating card as on the desktop. Tap the album to open a separate artwork screen with a large cover, clock and a lyrics button at the top left. Close that screen to return to the player's previous size. The timer, Stay Awake and widgets row step aside while the player is expanded or the artwork screen is open.
• Timer, from the Pomodoro Droplet, and Stay Awake, from its own. Each has an optional darker background so the countdown stays readable on a bright wallpaper.
• Motion artwork plays Apple Music and Spotify animated covers. In the artwork screen, Fullscreen animated artwork plays the video across the background; turn it off to keep motion inside the large cover. Songs without motion artwork still have the large cover, clock and lyrics. Turn Motion artwork off under Now Playing on this page to keep every cover still.

Status widgets row

A centered row of chips under the clock. Four are built in: your Mac's battery, your headphone or AirPods battery, sunrise and sunset, and air quality. Pick a widget style, regular, liquid or frosted, and a text color if the automatic white does not suit your wallpaper.

Droplets on the lock screen

Twelve Droplets add a chip of their own, and each has its own switch here. A chip only appears while its Droplet has something to say, so a lock screen with all twelve on is still empty when nothing is running.
