Droppy 16.0.1 is the first update after Droppy 16. It rebuilds the media player after the iPhone's, shows how much of your AI plans you have left, brings your clipboard history over and fixes what you reported in the first days.
Know where your AI plans stand
The Agents widget now slides from Progress to Usage on a Liquid Glass switch, with a ring for each of Claude, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity showing how much of your plan is left and when it resets. Droppy can tell you in the notch when a limit runs low.
Bring your clipboard with you
Clipboard can now import your history from Alfred, Clipy, Maccy and Raycast, including Raycast's encrypted exports. Items you already have are skipped, and a summary tells you what came across.
Keep the notch out of the way
Hide in apps, under Settings, General, hides the notch and lets clicks pass through while an app you picked is in front, which is what borderless games need. The new Glass level slider in Appearance decides how far the black reaches before it melts into Dynamic Glass.
Nine more features come along, among them pinned commands in Thunderstorm, Cowork tasks in Agents, song names that scroll on the Dynamic Island the way they do on the iPhone, and a width setting for island notifications.
The fixes that mattered most
Right-clicking a file on the shelf no longer crashes Droppy when its conversion options have not loaded yet, which could happen as early as the introduction. Droppy also no longer crashes right after an Element Capture screenshot while naming the file after the text inside it.
Pressing Delete or Turn off on a droplet's Settings page, or opening a page like DropClip's Actions, no longer leaves Droppy hanging.
The Dynamic Island now keeps one even gap around Now Playing, widgets, droplets and expanded HUD cards.
Around those are 45 smaller fixes: Droppy no longer freezes at launch with Mechey, Kaset shows its square album art, and the purchase page's seat slider no longer drags the window.
A media player like the iPhone's
The media player in the notch and on the Dynamic Island now follows the iPhone's: the waveform sits in the corner level with the song title, play and pause are centred, and on a song change the cover swaps first and the title follows. The album keeps its size when Lyrics or Playing Next opens.
Smoother everyday details
Confirmation and error dialogs no longer lock the rest of Droppy while one is open, and scrolling capture in Element Capture is much faster.
Thirteen more touches include a Media settings page grouped by task, license errors that say when your Mac's clock is wrong and droplet widgets that no longer clip at the corners.
