What it does

How to use it

  1. Drop a video, an audio file or a PDF, then pick the output format. Everything happens on the Mac.
  2. Video becomes M4A, WAV, FLAC, AIFF or ALAC. Audio converts between all of those. Each PDF page becomes its own JPEG, PNG or WebP.
  3. Choose where converted files are saved, and whether Finder opens when they land.

Workflows

Pull the audio out of a recording

A screen recording or a video call capture becomes an M4A you can send or transcribe, with no upload and no account.

PDF pages into a deck

Convert the pages to PNG, then drag them straight from the Shelf into Keynote.

Tips

  • MP3 output needs FFmpeg, which the Video Target Size Droplet installs. Every other format works with nothing extra.
  • It can be one of your Quick Action tiles, so a drop straight onto Convert asks for the format and gets on with it.
  • Nothing is uploaded and nothing is tied to an account, which matters more for documents than for video.
