Install OpenClip directly from Droppy. It's the official build by Ganesh M, pulled live from github.com/ganeshmshetty/openclip. Select text anywhere and act on it from a floating bar, and set the popup's behavior and look, its AI switch, menu bar icon and start at login from Droppy's own settings.

How to use it

  1. Install it from this Droplet's page. Droppy downloads the official signed build from github.com/ganeshmshetty/openclip and keeps it updated.
  2. Select text in any app and OpenClip's bar appears with copy, transform, search, calculate and AI writing actions, plus any extensions you add in OpenClip itself.
  3. Set the popup's behavior and look from Droppy: whether it appears automatically or on a mouse hold, the theme, color mode, position and size, the AI switch, the menu bar icon and start at login.

Where it shows up

It has no widget, no chip and no shortcut. It changes how your Mac already behaves, everywhere, and you turn it on or off from its own panel under Settings, Store.

Quiet it for a meeting

Run Pause for an hour from the Droplet's page and the bar stays away while you present; Resume brings it back early.

Tips

  • This is a third-party app by Ganesh M, not a Droppy feature: Droppy installs and updates it for you, and it stays his app.
  • Every setting on the page is read back from OpenClip, so what Droppy shows is what OpenClip has. AI providers and keys, extensions, hotkeys and the update channel stay in OpenClip's own settings on purpose.
  • Droppy checks for new OpenClip releases and tells you when one is out.
