# ShelfWidgetModeHeight

How tall one composition's content is (DroppyKit 1.23.0).

`enum ShelfWidgetModeHeight`

Content height, not the card's: the host adds the insets its clip needs for the placement (16 alone under a notch, none in a row, beside the camera or alone on the island), so a number never has an inset baked in.

Available from DroppyKit 1.23.0.

## Cases

### ShelfWidgetModeHeight.content(_:)

`case content(CGFloat)`

A fixed content height in points, clamped to [`contentHeightRange`](https://getdroppy.app/docs/droppykit/api/droppy-widget-metrics#content-height-range).

### ShelfWidgetModeHeight.fitting(range:)

`case fitting(range: ClosedRange<CGFloat>)`

As tall as the content wants at the settled slot width, measured by the host and clamped to `range` (itself clamped to [`contentHeightRange`](https://getdroppy.app/docs/droppykit/api/droppy-widget-metrics#content-height-range)). The content's ideal height is what a `VStack` of its rows measures with no height proposed; a `Spacer` counts as nothing. The shelf opens at the lower bound the first time and grows on its own spring once the widget has been measured.
