# ShelfWidgetFocusPolicy

Whether the widget participates in shelf keyboard focus.

`enum ShelfWidgetFocusPolicy`

A keyboard-focusable widget is one whose primary surface is a text field. When it opens alone, the host makes the shelf panel key once the view has mounted, so the cursor lands without an extra click; for a field that appears later, [`requestKeyboardFocus()`](https://getdroppy.app/docs/droppykit/api/droplet-shelf-service#request-keyboard-focus) asks for the same promotion. Both work while the droplet's own page is open in Settings, which is where the panel otherwise yields key. Declare this only for a surface whose primary interaction is typing: a `.none` widget never takes focus and its focus request is refused.

## Cases

### ShelfWidgetFocusPolicy.none

`case none`

The widget never takes keyboard focus.

### ShelfWidgetFocusPolicy.keyboardFocusable

`case keyboardFocusable`

The widget's primary surface is a text field: the host may make the shelf panel key for it.
