# DropletHUDService

Presents transient HUDs on the notch surface.

`@MainActor protocol DropletHUDService : AnyObject`

Requires the `hud` capability.

## Methods

### dismiss(id:)

`@MainActor func dismiss(id: String)`

Takes down a HUD this droplet presented. Does nothing when the id is not currently showing.

### present(_:)

`@discardableResult @MainActor func present(_ request: DropletHUDRequest) -> Bool`

Shows a HUD. Returns `false` when the host refused it, which happens when the droplet lacks the `hud` capability or a higher band owns the surface.
