Notes used to live in two places: the Notes droplet on the shelf, and Thunderstorm's floating notes window. Beta 2 makes them one. We also spent a long night going through Droppy for anything that could make it stall, and fixed what we found.

- 119 fixes since beta 1
- 43 refinements to speed and smoothness

## Notes, in one place

Thunderstorm notes now live in the Notes droplet. The shelf and the floating notes window show the same notes, so a line you type in one is there in the other. Your existing notes move over once, and the original Markdown files stay untouched.

A note on the shelf has a button that opens it in the floating window, and the floating window can send it back to the notch, so a note follows you to wherever you are working.

## Answer your agents from the notch

When a coding agent stops to ask something, the Agents droplet now shows the question in the notch. Pick one of the choices, or type a reply, and Droppy hands it to the agent. Everything stays on your Mac.

## Fewer freezes

Copying from an app that is slow to hand over its content could freeze Droppy for several seconds, and so could turning on a droplet or changing a setting. Both are gone.

On Intel Macs, Droppy Sync could stop at Waiting for first sync with an NSCocoaErrorDomain 256 error. Intel Macs now sync like every other Mac.

Searching Settings after Droppy had been running for a long time could crash it. Voice Transcribe also keeps the Whisper model you picked instead of going back to Small on every restart.

Another 114 fixes cover Thunderstorm, Clipboard, media, recording, keyboard shortcuts and droplets, most of them rare crashes and stale states.

## Lighter on your Mac

Clipboard, Settings, Droppy Sync and media do more of their work off the main thread now, so the notch keeps up while they run. While music plays, Droppy receives each cover image once instead of with every playback update.

Settings pages and the Droplet Store come back faster when you return to them scrolled, and Clipboard writes its history to disk less often while you copy several things in a row.

Thirty-five more refinements make Thunderstorm faster to type in and the shelf smoother with many files in it.
